Foods with nitrates, like hot dogs, deli meats, and sausages, should be off your list. Same with very cold drinks and foods like ice cream. Also, it might be a good idea to not eat cultured foods like yogurt, buttermilk, and sour cream. Adding foods that are high in magnesium to your diet can be helpful because not having enough magnesium might cause headaches. Foods like oatmeal, peanut butter, almonds, sunflower seeds, eggs, and cashews are good choices.
